My Approach

How I work

In my work I focus on building trustworthy and stable client-therapist alliance, where one can feel safe and confident to be themselves. Depending on the client’s needs I am flexible to adapt, while maintaining a non-judgemental and compassionate environment. I value knowledge and dedication, and at the same time I trust my intuition and the situation, to guide through the process of therapy. 

I work within the framework of gestalt therapy, which is an intersection of a humanistic and existential approaches, meaning that the client is an active and equal participant of the process, whose experiences are unique and deserve individual attention. The therapy is happening in a dialogue between a client and a therapist. One of the key processes of therapy is to raise awareness about how one lives and organises their life. Therapeutic relationship allows one to witness, reflect and experiment into the new forms of connection with the self and the world. During the sessions I pay close attention to the body, integrate mindfulness and breath techniques, as well as creative approaches if appropriate. 

I am happy and honoured to go together with you on a journey of learning more about yourself. A deeper understanding of our own self, the origins of our behaviours and thoughts, frees us and helps making conscious choices.

I offer both short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy with non-clinical issues. 

Here are the main areas I am working in:

  • Relationships with yourself and others

  • Trauma and traumatic experience 

  • Grief and loss

  • Stress and burnout

  • Personal and/or existential crisis 

  • Relocation and/or life transitions

  • Anxiety

  • Depressive episodes

  • Self-worth

  • Identity search 

  • Career counselling

I also offer crisis interventions, if you are in acute distress and/or have suffered a traumatic event, do not hesitate to reach out. I offer up to 4 sessions free of charge for those who cannot afford regular fee and need an immediate support.
